Backup Passkey

Copy your passkey to another device for backup and recovery.

What This Does

Initiates the passkey backup process to sync or copy your passkey to another device using your platform's passkey system.

How to Backup

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Backup Passkey
3. Follow your device's passkey sync prompts

Platform-Specific Backup

Apple Devices (iOS/macOS)

• Passkeys sync via iCloud Keychain
• Available on all devices with same Apple ID
• Requires iCloud Keychain to be enabled in Settings

Android Devices

• Passkeys sync via Google Password Manager
• Available on all devices with same Google account
• Requires sync to be enabled in Google settings

Desktop Browsers

• Some browsers support cross-device passkey sync
• Check your browser's password/passkey settings

Why Backup Matters

Without a backup:

• Losing your device means losing wallet access
• You cannot recover your account without support help
• Recovery options are limited

Security Notes

• Your passkey is protected by biometrics on each device
• Passkeys are synced securely through your cloud account
• No one can access your passkey without your biometric authentication
